- Are kids allowed on a sailboat?
Answer: Yes absolutely! Our tours are designed for kids of all ages, as long as you manage them. Please remember that kids are responsibility of their parents, but they should obey captain's commands. Kids will definitely have more fun on the sailboat than on luxury yacht cruise.
- Can I bring my dog along?
Answer: No, unfortunately our tours are not animal-friendly. Even if your dog is accustomed to a sailboat, we cannot guarantee full comfort and safety of the animal, guests, crew and equipment.
- We are a group of more than 8 people, but there are small children among us, can we still come on tour?
Answer: Unfortunately maximum capacity is 8 guests including children of any age. This is registered officially for our vessel and matches safety equipment on board.
- Can we have a night sailing tour that will start after sunset?
Answer: Unfortunately our last tour must finish right after the sunset as per safety regulations
- Can we spend a night on the boat?
Answer: Unfortunately overnight stay is not allowed
- Can we rent sailboat for few days to charter it further away to other emirates or Oman?
Answer: Unfortunately this is not an option at this time, as this activity requires additional permits and insurance.
- I have skipper license and a lot of experience, can I rent your boat without captain?
Answer: Unfortunately not, due to the insurance conditions. But we are happy to give you full control of the boat outside of the port, with captain at your disposal.
- Can we use the cabins inside?
Answer: Yes you can use inside cabins for storing your belongings (including fridge for food) and changing. Please do not sleep inside. Children are not allowed to play with boat parts and equipment inside.
- Can we bring our food and drinks with us?
Answer: Yes you can bring your food and drinks on private cruises! We will help you to store it in the fridge and serve with stylish crockery and glasses.
- Can I bring real glasses for my important celebration?
Answer: Glassware is strictly not allowed on board for safety reasons! We offer a variety of stylish crockery for different type of drinks, free of charge.
- Can we bring a cake for a Birthday celebration?
Answer: Due to the specifics of the sailboat (tilt, wind, space limitations) we don't advise to deal with cake on board. Birthday candle will definitely have to wait until after the tour :)
- Can we fish or troll while on sailing tour?
Answer: We don't specialize on fishing and we don't provide equipment and bait. You can bring your own equipment on private tour, however please make sure that you're holding a valid Dubai fishing license and don't disturb captain and crew tour operation as per the plan, route and timing.
- We don't know how to swim, will that be a problem?
Answer: Absolutely not! Swimming is optional and up to you. If you don't feel confident in the open sea, but want to try, we will provide a life jacket for you to safely take a dip. If you just want to stay dry, that cool too.
- Do you have life jackets for kids?
Answer: Yes we have 3 kids life jackets on board (age 4-12 years old approximately)
- Is there a bathroom on board?
Answer: Yes we have private bathroom on board for your use as per safety and health conditions.
- Is there a shower on board?
Answer: Yes we have outdoor freshwater shower for you to rinse salt after a sea dip.
- Is the boat air-conditioned?
Answer: No the boat is not air-conditioned. Our sailing tours are held on the top deck with limited use of cabin facilities (changing clothes, bathroom usage).
- Do I have to remove my shoes while on board?
Answer: Yes, shoes are to be removed before boarding to prevent damage of the equipment.
- What should I wear to a sailboat cruise?
Answer: Anything that will make you comfortable sitting on the deck, squatting and walking in the wind! Hat is always a great idea.
- How do I book my sailing tour?
Answer: We require 50% advance payment to secure your booking. This is to ensure that we block your date and time on all other resources. Advance payment can be done via bank transfer or paylink.
- What if I suddenly have a change of plans?
Answer: You can cancel with full refund 48 hours before the start of your tour. In case you have a change in plans within 48 hours, we will retain your advance, however you can reschedule without payment loss as per the availability. Please do let us know as early as possible, so that we can start looking at the options for you.
- Can I get a discount?
Answer: Yes, if you have OFF THE BEATEN TRACK (15%), FAZAA/ESAAD (15%), IN-APP (15%), or ENTERTAINER (B1G1 for Group Tours)
